Drag it across the lily pads and as soon as you drop it into a hole or over the edge it'll get nailed.

try light cover thats on top of the water. small leaves and white strands on still water is great. i use a pre-rigged frog that has a small weight behind the hooks. fish it fast and on the surface, cuz the weight is just to get it out there. if u miss, wait a few seconds and start reeling in again if no second strike occurs. must set hook hard and fast

Fish the frogs fast on top or just benigth the surface or swim em like a frog would move.

I use large mustad big gaped hooks and rig the frogs weedless. Fish em on heavy mono 15-25 lb or 20-50 lb braid. Fish em through lilly pads, grass beds or downed trees. Give the fish a 2 count before setting the hook hard, you'll have to get that hook out of the frog and into the fishes mouth. Good luck and enjoy!
