Kentons right you are setting the hook to early. You can also try using a double hook like what Stanley baits make. Also what frogs are you using??

If the bass are hitting the frogs but not getting caught you're setting the hook too fast. Wait til you feel weight on the line, then set it. Its tough to wait when you see the splash but you'll catch em if you just wait a few seconds.

use what you are getting hits on already but add a trailer hook

Try some red and black Zoom Speed Craws rigged weedless. The smaller craw catches me lots of bass, when bass are hitting slow. Work em fast as a topwater, slow or with a pull pause pull pause as a real frog would do.

i was fishin a fairly small pond with a fountain on one half. nothing worked for bass besides the little wax worms as live bait. i tried tons of different lures but got the same result. then i threw a rubber-type frog and got lots of hits but no hook-ups. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. anything would be useful. thanks
