My pond has been frozen for about a week now. With 3+lb of largemouth does the ice affect the fish?

As long as the pond has some deep pockets where the bass can get down a little, they should be fine. And by deep I only mean 3-5 feet. They should be fine and you'll be back to pulling out lunkers soon enough!

jbonifer24 explained it almost as good as ya can. As long as they have pockets to stay in you'll be fine.

That was gonna be my first question, what's the depth of the water.

Jb24 and T hit the nail on the head

If the pond is deep enough, they should be good.

Your fish should do just fine if they have some deep water to go to.

Try catching one and see. We catch them on Tip ups from time to time when we are trying for Pike. They are very lethargic in the Winter.
