    What line and lb test do you use for bass fishing? For my finess rig I use 20 pound braid and for topwater and pitching I use 40 lb braid. For my spinners I use 8 lb mono. What about you?

    12 lb. flourocarbon on one baitcaster, 14 lb. mono on other baitcaster, and 6 pound mono on spinning reel

      i dont like to use braid for topwater i prefer mono for topwater

        i use 10 lb. mono its also my trout rod but i mainly use it for top water bass and crankbaits for bass. sumtimes spinnerbaits but i only have 1 tyhat was a dollar at walmart

          I use braid for topwater becuase I fish really dense weeds and brush. Using really heavy mono for topwater is just ackward for me, and it doesn't last as long or cut through the weeds as good.

            i use 50 lb braid for everyting

              I've never used more than 10, maybe 12 for bass. I guess I understand the desire for heavy line in the thick stuff but I do just fine with lighter tackle. Finesse and 20lb sound funny in the same sentence.
