Black for muddier water... Any natural color for clearer water, like Green Pumpkin or Watermelon seed

You can not go wrong with black.

Last week I caught bass until I was ashamed of myself using The Culprit 7" Texas Red. Of course, it was one of those days when everything was right, moon, water clarity, temperature, time of day, cloud cover, etc., but that color has been good to me in the past, as well as those that others have mentioned.

pumpkin, deep purple (almost black), black, chartruse (sp?) are all good. I'd also urge you to look at Gulp brand as they are biodegradable.

7 inch berkley power worms in black with blue flake are a classic standby for when you want a swimming tail action. I'm not a big fan of the powerbait smell but they are certainly effective.
