Depends, if the fish in the area is mostly 1-2 pounds, then a size 5. If the fish are bigger than go up a size or more to match the fish size. A 8 pound fish needs a bigger hook than a 2 pound, but you'll miss lots of 2 pound fish with the 8 pound hook size. I like Mustad Ultra Points Mega Bites, it has just the right bend in the neck for lizard and worm rigging.

A Gamagtzu 5 in wide gap is good it also has enough weight that you can fish the Lizard without any other weight added in shallow water down to 5 ft.
