what is the weirdest fish you caught and where did you catch it (our weird fish in maine is the fallfish) ?

i caught a gar while fishing a nearby ditch. These are some pretty wicked looking fish with sharklike teeth!

I caught a Lionfish off the wharf on the island of Gore in Senegal when I was a little kid. They are all spotted with a frill of poisonous spines around the head and in the fins. Everyone kinda freaked out and another kid stepped on it and yanked the hook out. The spines have a potent neurotoxin that would have killed me dead. Definitely a catch and release fish.
